Welcome to Meadowside Residence, a luxury bed and breakfast in the picturesque seaside town of North Berwick offering high quality accommodation. Here you will be assured of a warm Scottish welcome from your hosts Richard and Rachael. The breakfast which is included with all rooms, is served in the stunning oak panelled dining room.
Meadowside is a grand Victorian home and is a one minute walk from a 9 hole children's golf course and 5 minutes walk from the beach. The resident chef Rachael, is Michelin star trained.
Guest are able to make use of complimentary mens, ladies and childrens golf clubs as well as adult bicycles. For the use of children there are in addition: swings, a childrens fort and a large enclosed trampoline.
The gardens here are beautifully landscaped and include three separate seating /dining areas.

The Bonnie Suite
A separate annex within the house with it's own extra large shower room and separate entrance. This suite is on the ground floor, and accessed from four steps leading up to the annex door from the rear garden. The bedroom has a double bed sleeping up to two adults, a cosy seating area, television, luxury towels and bedding, Nespresso machine, kettle and complimentary wifi.£140 per night*
The Curtis Suite
The former master bedroom of this grand home. It is extremely spacious and contains a super kingsize bed sleeping up to two adults and has a bay window with a chaise lounge. The private bathroom has a large free standing bath and separate large shower. It is not en-suite, however it is only a few steps outside of the bedroom door. This room is on the first floor and includes luxury towels and bedding, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary wifi.

Another bedroom located on the first floor which can sleep up to 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler/baby. It has a double bed, a day bed which pulls out into a king bed and a toddler bed/cot. Provided within the room are luxury towels and bedding, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary wifi. The private bathroom for this room is on the ground floor. There is also a separate shower room.
£135 per night* based on two adults sharing. There is an additional charge of £30 per person staying in this room.
Our exciting new addition, the former tennis pavilion in the garden which has recently been converted into a delightful one bedroom cottage with a luxury wet room and a garden lounge. The bedroom features a kingsize bed and the lounge has a double sofa bed which can accommodate an extra two people. The Pavilion has complimentary wifi , a large flat screen TV with Now TV, luxury towels/ bedding, tea/coffee making facilities and a Nespresso machine.
£190 per night based on two adults sharing. There is an additional charge of £30 for each extra person per night staying in The Pavilion.

It is possible to accommodate children under 3 years old free of charge in either a travel cot or toddler bed which can be placed in certain rooms.
We are also able to provide fold-up single beds which can be placed in certain rooms to accommodate children up to 16 years. Additional charges apply.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DIRECT BOOKINGS:
A 50% deposit will be taken to secure your reservation, this is refundable upon cancellation up until 3 calendar months prior to the date of check in.
Breakfast is served in the grand dining room of the property. On colder days a fire will be lit for you to enjoy whilst you eat.

North Berwick is a picturesque seaside town and former royal burgh in East Lothian. It is situated on the south shore of the Forth of Firth and approximately 25 miles North East of Edinburgh and is just a 30 minute train journey from Edinburgh and easily accessible by car.
There are two sandy beaches here in North Berwick, both of which overlook The Bass Rock, home to the world's largest gannet colony. There are also two golf courses: The North Berwick Golf Club and The Glen Golf Club. Nearby there is Archerfield, The Renaissance Club - which hosted the 2019 Scottish Open, historic Muirfied - which has hosted the The Open on some sixteen occasions, and the Three Courses at Gullane - Number one course which hosted the 2015 and 2018 Scottish Opens.
There are plenty of fun things to do within the area for all ages which include: The National Museum of Flight (home to Scotland's only Concorde), The Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick Sport's Centre, North Berwick Harbour,
Tantallon Castle, Dirleton Castle and not to forget strolling along North Berwick's high street to browse the many boutique shops.
